ABOUT THE FILM

 

Peping is a real patriarch-the head of the family. He is a jeepney driver who works hard to sustain the needs of his wife Yoli and his only son Carlo.

 

Their once loving and peaceful coexistence will be disrupted when Peping suddenly finds himself without the aid of hearing. As he struggles with his condition, his wife and son gradually move away from him as he intentionally and helplessly distance himself from them.

 

Peping habituates himself to being deaf and he becomes accustomed to silence and in so doing is able to listen earnestly to what his wife and son really want: a loving husband and an understanding father!

 

 

The australian born actor Heath Ledger died on January 22, 2008. He was found at 3:26 p.m. EST by a housekeeper and a massage therapist, who entered the bedroom to find him face down and unconscious at the foot of his bed with sleeping pills on a nearby night table.

So shocking, but oh so true!!! waaaaah, gawd!!! :(

I am a Ledger fan, i adored him as Patrick Verona in ten things i hate about you, i lusted on him when he portrayed the ever chilvarous Sir William Thatcher/Sir Ulrich von Lichtenstein of Gelderland in A Knights Tale, i melted within when he smiled as the charismatic, womanizer Giacamo Casanova in Casanova, i applauded and cheered mightily when he received an oscar nomination for his portrayal of Ennis del Mar in Brokeback Mountain and i have been painstakingly waiting to see him utter his jokes and villainous acts as The Joker, in the upcoming Batman film.

OH Heath, i'll miss you!!! :-(
